The Role: General Superintendent
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent to oversee all field operations for our civil construction projects. This role requires extensive travel to project sites across the Southwest and beyond to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
As a General Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in our project success. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing all construction activities on-site, ensuring they align with project specifications, schedules, and safety regulations.
Team Management: Hiring, training, and managing field crew members for various projects, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to achieve project goals, monitor progress, and address any issues promptly.
Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Logistics Oversight: Managing equipment and material logistics to ensure timely delivery and utilization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of renewable energy construction practices and standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
A commitment to safety and quality.
A willingness to travel extensively to various project sites.
