Les joined our team in August 2024 as a Senior Civil Estimator and has quickly become an integral part of our operations. With over 35 years of experience in estimating and project management within the civil construction industry, Les brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
A Proven Leader in Civil Construction
Throughout his career, Les has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing complex projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million. His portfolio includes heavy highway construction, city street reconstructions, airport runways, bridges, and utilities development. Les' meticulous attention to detail and mastery of advanced software tools have consistently ensured unparalleled accuracy in cost estimation, project planning, and execution.
Prior to joining Sendero, Les held key leadership positions at esteemed firms like SpawGlass Civil Construction and SER Construction Partners. Notably, he served as the Lead Estimator for transformative projects, including the METRO NW Transit Center redevelopment and significant Harris County flood control initiatives. His diverse experience also encompasses environmental construction, where he managed complex site remediation, sludge dewatering, oil spill response, and waste transportation operations.
Leading Preconstruction at Sendero Energy Services
In his new role as Director of Preconstruction, Les will oversee our estimating team, playing a pivotal role in analyzing project scopes, streamlining vendor and subcontractor negotiations, and ensuring strict adherence to schedules and budgets. Les' leadership comes at a strategic time as Sendero Energy Services continues to expand its operations.
